How it works?
This system acts as a virtual marketplace and facilitates the matching of Clients and Designers through the process of free bidding, while providing Clients and Designers with the opportunity to exercise their freedom of choice. Clients post a project for bidding and then choose a designer for their project from the submitted bids, while Designers can choose the projects they wish to bid on. Designers base their bids on the initial project information provided by the Client and always have the opportunity to clarify details through a Private Message Board. After the Client has made his choice and the chosen Designer confirms that s/he accepts the job, both parties are connected (contact information disclosed) and the work begins. Payments can be made in either an electronic or traditional way and is to be agreed upon between the parties.

How to post a project?
Posting a project is as easy as ever. If you are a new user, you will first have to Sign up using a quick two step process. It is FREE. Once registered, simply fill in an electronic form describing the project specificities and total area. Then, you can upload (optional) the initial information package for the project including a floor plan and/or sections, pictures etc. (can be an AutoCAD drawing), in a ZIP file. That’s it!
NOTE: Once a project is posted you can not add files but text description or clarifications only.

How to bid on a project?
If you are a new user, you will first have to Sign up using a quick two step process. It is FREE. Once registered, you can download the initial project information package (.ZIP file containing drawing, pictures or text) and based on the information provided, prepare your proposal and supporting bid materials using samples, renderings, description etc. Up to 3 supporting files are allowed per bid (check the file size limitations on Place Bid page bottom). Once your bid proposal is ready, click the "Place Bid" button on the project page and post your bid. You can choose to be notified of lower bids.

How can I ask a question about a project that will help me place my bid?
Post your question on the message board for that project. To post a private message for the Client, just type Client’s nickname in the box provided. This will make your message accessible for the specified user only. To access the project message board, click the link (button) on the project page.
I just posted a project but now I'd like to add some files. How can I do this?
It is not possible to add files to already posted project. The initial information package for the project including a floor plan and/or sections, pictures etc. must be uploaded at the time of project posting. This is done for a reason to avoid confusion during the bidding process.
Once a project is posted you can add text description or clarifications only.
How can I see attached pictures to a bid?
Login to your Client account and click on “Pick Designer” link. Here you can see all bids with the attached pictures or other materials as thumbnails. When click on a thumbnail you will see the large image. You do not have to actually pick a designer at this point. You can just view the bids and browse pictures and pick a designer later.
